6-4-7: MONUMENTS:
   (A)   Permanent reference monuments shall be placed by the subdivider at each corner or angle on the peripheral boundary of the subdivision. Such permanent reference monuments shall be stone or concrete at least three feet (3') in length and six inches (6") square with suitable center point and shall be set flush with the ground and planted in such a manner that they will not be removed by frost.
   (B)   Metal monuments of three-fourths of an inch (3/4") diameter pipe or five-eighths of an inch (5/8") diameter solid steel rods and two feet (2') in length shall be placed in the ground at all lot corners, intersections of streets, intersections of streets and alleys and platted boundary lines where there is a change in direction or curvature. All federal, state, county, local or other bench marks, monuments or triangulation stations in or adjacent to the development shall be presumed in precise position. All monuments shall be properly set in the ground before the streets and alleys are accepted by the village. (Ord. 93-5, 5-24-1993)
