Upon request of the Board of Trustees, the Village Plan Commission has prepared and has recommended to the Board of Trustees a proposed Official Comprehensive Plan for the present and future development of the Village and regulating subdivisions within the corporate limits thereof and in contiguous unincorporated territory one and one-half (11/2) miles beyond such limits, and the Plan Commission has held a public hearing, scheduled by the Board of Trustees, thereon, after required published notice; and the Board of Trustees, after considering the recommendations of the Plan Commission and the information derived from such public hearing, hereby adopts said proposed Official Comprehensive Plan, as modified or amended herein, as the Official Comprehensive Plan for the Village of Barrington Hills.
