(A) Creation Of Office: There is hereby created the office of the open meetings act officer.
(B) Appointment, Eligibility And Term: The president by and with the approval of the board of trustees, shall appoint an open meetings act officer. Each person appointed as the open meetings act officer shall, within thirty (30) days after such appointment satisfy the requirements of 5 Illinois Compiled Statutes 120/1.05. Such officer shall serve at the pleasure of the president and board of trustees.
(C) Salary: The salary and other provisions of compensation for the open meetings act officer shall be fixed from time to time by the board of trustees.
(D) Duties: The open meetings act officer shall have the duties as prescribed in the open meetings act 1 . (Ord. 09-15, 12-21-2009)
