(A) Code Adopted: The International Code Council Swimming Pool and Spa Code, 2015 edition is hereby adopted by reference as the Swimming Pool and Spa Code of the Village subject to such deletions and additions of sections as are hereinafter provided.
(B) Promulgation Of Rules: The President and Board of Trustees may adopt rules and regulations to implement the provisions of this chapter. (Ord. 18-09, 8-27-2018, eff. 1-1-2019)
(C) Additions To The International Swimming Pool And Spa Code:
1. Section 101. Insert the Village of Barrington Hills
2. Section 801.1. Replace "Permanent inground residential swimming pools shall include pools that are partially or entirely above grade" with "Permanent inground residential swimming pools shall be installed completely underground."

(D) Barriers: A four foot (4') barrier/fence or a pool safety cover is not required to be installed. Should a barrier/fence or pool safety cover be installed it must comply with the International Code Council Swimming Pool and Spa Code 2015. (Ord. 18-09, 8-27-2018, eff. 1-1-2019)
