(A) Code Adopted: The International Code Council Fire Code, 2015 edition is hereby adopted by reference as the Fire Code of the Village subject to such deletions and additions of sections as hereinafter provided.
(B) Amendments: International Fire Code with additions, deletions and insertions:
1. Section 101.1 insert Village of Barrington Hills
2. Enforcement Authority:
Insert section 103.5 Code Official: It shall be the duty and responsibility of the building officer of this village as is designated by the president and board of trustees of this village to enforce the building code of this village among which is included the fire prevention code and its provisions herein set forth. The designated enforcement officer of this code is herein referred to as the code official and shall mean the building officer of this village.
3. Duties and Powers of the Code Official:
Insert 104.12: The president and board of trustees may adopt rules and regulations to implement the provisions of this chapter.

5. Fire Alarm System Monitoring (Section 907.6.6)
In lieu of section 907.6.6 Monitoring:
All required fire alarm systems shall transmit alarm and trouble signals to the communications console in the Barrington Hills police department.
6. Sections 5704.2.9.6.1, 5706.2.4.4, 5806.2 and 6104.2 are not allowed without special permission as a Zoning Code Appeal
7. Chapter 80 Delete all references to the International Plumbing Code and insert the Illinois Plumbing Code
