4-1-9: VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES:
Any person who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with, or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this chapter, including provisions adopted by reference, or to remedy a hazard of fire, explosion, collapse, contagion or spread of infectious disease found to exist and duly ordered eliminated, shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each and every day during which any violation thereof is committed, continued or permitted and, upon conviction of any such violation, such person shall be punished by a fine of not more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) for each offense. In addition to any other penalty authorized by this section, any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be required to abate said violation of this chapter, including, where appropriate, the restoration of the property to the condition existing prior to commission of the violation, and to bear the expense of such abatement or restoration. This supersedes the penalty sections in the adopted ICC Codes. (Ord. 18-09, 8-27-2018, eff. 1-1-2019)
