1-7-2: MUNICIPAL JUDGES:
   A.   Judges To Preside: As provided in Wyoming Statutes, the judges of the municipal court are termed municipal judges. There shall be one municipal judge with additional judges as may be prescribed by ordinance as the need arises. (Ord. 82-01, 4-15-1982)
   B.   Appointment: The mayor shall appoint a municipal judge with the concurrent consent of the town council, who shall hold the appointment for the duration of the appointment or until such time as removed by the mayor, with the concurrence of the governing body, for incompetency or neglect of duty, whichever shall first occur.    C.   Term Of Office; Compensation: The term of municipal judge shall be the same as that of the other appointive officers of the town, unless previously removed for good cause as provided by law. Compensation of the municipal judges shall be prescribed by ordinance.
   D.   Bond Required: As provided for by Wyoming Statutes, the municipal judge shall be bonded in an amount equal to twice the average amount of money estimated by the town council to be at any time in such municipal judge's hands; provided, that the town council may increase or diminish the sum of the bond or its terms and conditions at any time as may be necessary to comply with the state statutes, and that he will turn over to the parties entitled to or that may be prescribed by provision of this code, all monies collected by him by virtue of his office as municipal judge forthwith. The bond shall be conditioned on the performance of his duties in accordance with law and ordinance of the town. (Ord. 82-01, 4-15-1982)
