A. Adopted: There is hereby adopted by the town of Bar Nunn for the purpose of prescribing regulations to safeguard life, health, property and public welfare, the suggested code known as the uniform sign code, current edition, formulated by the International Conference Of Building Officials. The purpose of this code is to regulate and control the design, quality of materials, construction, location, electrification and maintenance of signs and sign structures not located within a building. A sign shall not be erected in a manner that would confuse or obstruct the view of or interfere with official traffic signs, signals or devices.
