(a) No person, firm or corporation or club shall have in its place of business or club rooms, for use by means of depositing a coin or for hire, an amusement device or machine other than a jukebox generally known as a pinball machine, without first having obtained from the Mayor a license for so doing, as provided herein. Such license shall be posted at all times in a conspicuous place in the same room as the machine is located.

(b) The Mayor is authorized to grant and issue such license for a term of one year from date thereof to each person, firm or corporation or club having in his or its place of business or club rooms such amusement device or machine other than pool and billiard tables, shuffleboard tables and ping-pong tables, upon application and payment of a license fee of two hundred dollars ($200.00) for the first such machine and fifty dollars ($50.00) for each additional device or machine, except that for pool, billiard and shuffleboard tables, the license fee shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per year and for ping-pong tables ten dollars ($10.00) per year. Provided, however, that no person, firm or corporation or club shall be required to pay a license fee which shall exceed four hundred dollars ($400.00) per location per year for all amusement devices, pool tables, billiard tables, shuffleboard tables and ping-pong tables at such location.

(c) All money derived from the issuing of such licenses and all fines and forfeitures derived from the enforcement of this chapter shall be put into the General Fund of the Municipality.
(d) This section shall not apply to devices or machines operated by religious organizations, the Barnesville schools or the Municipality.
