Before any person, firm or corporation shall operate a taxicab service within the corporate limits of the Municipality, and before the Mayor shall issue a license as provided in this chapter such person, firm or corporation shall secure for each taxicab that it will operate and keep in force during the period of such operation, a public liability and property damage insurance policy in the amounts provided for in Ohio R.C. 4509.51(B). Such person, firm or corporation shall file with the application, proof of securing such policy and a copy thereof. (Ord. 609. Passed 5-27-47.)
