(a) Before any person, firm or corporation shall operate a taxicab or taxicabs upon the streets, alleys and public ways of the Municipality, such person, firm or corporation so desiring to operate a taxicab service shall make an application to the Mayor for a license and shall pay the Clerk-Treasurer a license fee of ten dollars ($10.00) per year for each taxicab which such person, firm or corporation will operate. Such application shall state the name under which such person, firm or corporation will operate, the owner or owners thereof, the number of taxicabs to be operated and the location of the principal office thereof.
(b) The Mayor shall keep and file a copy of all licenses issued and all endorsements thereon. (Ord. 609. Passed 5-27-47.)
