(a) Any convicted sex offender shall, within thirty days of his coming into the Village, register with the Chief of Police by submitting a statement in writing signed by such person giving such information as may be required by the Chief of Police and the fingerprints and photograph of such person. Such person required to register under this section shall provide his correct and current residence address and shall inform the Chief of Police of any change of his residence address in writing within ten days of the change. For purposes of this section, sex offender shall mean anyone convicted of any offense included within Ohio R.C. 2150.01(B).
(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree, on a first offense; on each subsequent offense such person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree. (Ord. 1722. Passed 7-7-86.)
