351.16 PARKING ON MAIN AND CHESTNUT STREETS DURING SNOWFALL.
   (a)   No person, being the owner or operator of a motor vehicle, shall cause or permit the same to be parked or to remain stationary, unless in the event of an emergency, on Main Street between the east corporation limit and the west corporation limit, or on Chestnut Street, between the north corporation limit and the south corporation limit, during any period when the snowfall exceeds three inches in depth until after the street has been plowed.

   (b)   Any employee, officer, member of Council of the Village, or duly authorized agent of such employee, officer or member shall be permitted to move any vehicle which is the subject of a violation of this section for the purpose of aiding in the removal of snow from the streets of the Village, and, if necessary, to tow and store such vehicle.
   (c)   A violation of this section is a minor misdemeanor. In addition to the penalties set forth in Section 303.99 of the Codified Ordinances, any person who violates this section may be required to reimburse the Village for reasonable towing and storage charges.
