(a) All patients within the Corporation transported to Barnesville Hospital will be charged the following rates:
(1) If (EMT-BASIC) is used on the transport, the charge shall be seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) per run, plus twenty dollars ($20.00) per mile one way.
(2) If (ALS-1) is used on the transport, the charge shall be eight hundred dollars (800.00) per run, plus twenty dollars ($20.00) per mile one way.
(3) If (ALS-2) is used on the transport, the charge shall be one thousand dollars ($1000.00) per run, plus twenty dollars ($20.00) per mile one way.
(4) If (CRITICAL CARE) is used on the transport, the charge shall be one thousand, one hundred twenty-five dollars ($1,125.00) per run, plus twenty dollars ($20.00) per mile one way.
(b) All patients outside the Corporation transported to Barnesville Hospital will be charged the following rates:
(1) If (EMT-BASIC) is used on the transport, the charge shall be seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) per run, plus twenty dollars ($20.00) per mile one way.
(2) If (ALS-1) is used on the transport, the charge shall be eight hundred dollars (800.00) per run, plus twenty dollars ($20.00) per mile one way.
(3) If (ALS-2) is used on the transport, the charge shall be one thousand dollars ($1000.00) per run, plus twenty dollars ($20.00) per mile one way.
(4) If (CRITICAL CARE) is used on the transport, the charge shall be one thousand, one hundred twenty-five dollars ($1,125.00) per run, plus twenty dollars ($20.00) per mile one way.
(c) All patients transported to any hospital outside the Village of Barnesville will be charged the following rates:
(1) If (EMT-BASIC) is used on the transport, the charge shall be seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) per run, plus twenty dollars ($20.00) per mile one way.
(2) If (ALS-1) is used on the transport, the charge shall be eight hundred dollars (800.00) per run, plus twenty dollars ($20.00) per mile one way.
(3) If (ALS-2) is used on the transport, the charge shall be one thousand dollars ($1000.00) per run, plus twenty dollars ($20.00) per mile one way.
(4) If (CRITICAL CARE) is used on the transport, the charge shall be one thousand, one hundred twenty-five dollars ($1,125.00) per run, plus twenty dollars ($20.00) per mile one way.

(d) No members of the Barnesville Emergency Squad and Fire Department nor their immediate family members living at home or with a Squad member shall be charged for any transportation to any hospital. Immediate family includes mother, father, brother, sister, husband, wife, children and stepchildren. (Ord. 3254. Passed 4-17-06.)
(e) Whenever, as part of the transportation of any patient by the emergency squad it is necessary to use the Village of Barnesville Airport to facilitate the transportation of the patient by air travel, the air transportation company will be billed for the use of the airport and the transportation of its personnel to the hospital to pick-up the patient and back to the airport. The charge shall be six hundred dollars ($600.00) per run. Twenty-five dollars ($25.00) of the six hundred dollars ($600.00) shall be allocated to the airport fund.
(f) If a call is made for Emergency Squad Services at a residence and the individual refuses to be transported to a medical facility, the individual refusing said transport shall be charged a fee of two hundred dollars ($200.00).

(g) Medical supplies used on Emergency calls that are not replaced by the Hospital shall be billed to the patient at replacement cost. (Ord. 3248. Passed 3-6-06.)
(h) All patients transported from Barnesville Hospital to another medical institution or facility, including, but not limited to, any hospital, surgery center, nursing facility, assisted care facility or the like will be charged the following rates:
(1) If Basic Transportation is used on the transport, the charge shall be seven hundred dollars ($700.00) per run, plus twenty dollars ($20.00) per mile one way.
(2) If Advanced Transportation is used on the transport, the charge shall be seven hundred twenty five dollars ($725.00) per run, plus twenty dollars ($20.00) per mile one way.
(i) Subject to the Fire Chiefs discretion, if a call is made for Emergency Services for Lift Assistance, the charge shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00) per run.
