(a) The Assistant Chief-E-Squad Coordinator shall be paid by Council annually, payable in equal bi-weekly installments from the Barnesville Emergency Medical Services Fund (B7). (Ord. 3250. Passed 3-29-06.)
(b) (1) The Fire Chief or Assistant Chief-E-Squad Coordinator shall schedule members to work not more than 39-1/2 hours per week. Two members shall be scheduled to be on duty at the station at times to be determined by the Fire Chief, but not exceeding 77 hours per week. The coverage schedule shall be approved by Council. Members shall be paid for hours actually worked at the following rates: (Ord. 3658. Passed 4-7-14.)
(2) The compensation of EMS Employees be increased to the following:
EMT | $15.75 per hour |
AEMT | $16.75 per hour |
PARAMEDIC | $17.75 per hour |

(c) Members shall not be entitled to any fringe benefits except Ohio P.E.R.S.
(d) The hours between 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., shall be covered by on call members not regularly scheduled to cover the 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. shift. The on call schedule shall be established by the Fire Chief or the Assistant Chief-E-Squad Coordinator.
(e) Members who are called out any time shall be paid their hourly rate per their classification, but only for time actually spent on such calls. (Ord. 3250. Passed 3-29-06.)
(f) In addition to the hours paid to EMS members under subsection (b) hereof, one or more members shall be scheduled to perform billing duties not to exceed 18 hours per week and shall be paid the same rate as an EMT-Paramedic.
