§ 96.10 MOWING, TREE TRIMMING, AND CARE OF RIGHT-OF-WAY.
   (A)   A property owner or other person in possession or control of a property shall:
      (1)   Cut, mow and maintain all grass and weeds upon the right-of-way abutting the property to a uniform height not to exceed 12 inches.
      (2)   Trim trees within the right-of-way abutting the property so that such trees hang no lower than 14 feet over any street, right-of-way or easement, no lower than eight feet over any sidewalk, and so that limbs shall not interfere with ordinary pedestrian or vehicular travel, or obstruct the light from street lamps.
      (3)   Trim and maintain any hedge or shrubbery abutting the right-of-way so that such hedge or shrubbery does not interfere with ordinary pedestrian or vehicular travel. No hedge or shrubbery shall be planted between the curb line/edge of pavement and the property line of any street within a radius of 20 feet from the point where the curb line/edge of pavement of any street intersects the curb line/edge of pavement of another street.
   (B)   Any property within the city, regardless of occupancy, shall be required to conform to these specifications. See Chapter 94: Nuisances and Chapter 99: Tree Preservation for more information.
