Upon the discovery of any violation of a provision of this chapter or any other ordinance or franchise agreement regulating the operation of the city’s cable television system, or any rule or regulation adopted by the CATV Department relative to the operation of a cable television system, it shall be the duty of the CATV Department to discontinue cable television service to the subscriber guilty of the violation until the violation is corrected and any charges connected therewith paid.
