This chapter shall apply to the city’s operation of what is commonly known as a cable television system composed of, without limitation, antennae, cables, wires, lines, towers, wave guides, or any other conductor, converters, equipment, or facilities designed, constructed, or wired for the purpose of producing, receiving, amplifying, and distributing by coaxial cable any audio, radio, television, electronic, or electrical signals to and from persons, subscribers, and locations in the county. The city shall operate its cable television system in accordance with the city’s Charter and all state and federal laws which pertain to the cable industry.
