(A) It is unlawful for any person who is required to register as a sexually oriented offender under R.C. § 2950.04 and classified as a "Tier III sex offender" or whose conviction was of a "child-victim oriented offense" as those terms are defined by R.C. § 2950.01, to reside within 1,000 feet of any school, preschool, commercial childcare center, city owned parks, and the Towpath.
(B) Any person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor in the first degree.
(C) This section applies to any person registering on or after the effective date of this legislation.
