§ 1442.03 PROFESSIONAL SERVICES; PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND DRAWINGS.
   Except in the case of one-, two- and three-family dwellings, minor buildings under 800 square feet in area, minor additions and minor alterations, plans and specifications should be prepared by the professional engineer or licensed architect. The Building Commissioner shall require that the unit stress and live and dead loads used in the design of the building be tabulated on the structural drawings and that such drawings bear a statement by the designer certifying that the unit stresses permitted by the Ohio Building Code have not been exceeded. He or she shall require the structural plans and computations, including electric wiring, heating and plumbing, to bear the signature of the registered engineer or the licensed architect in charge of structural design.
