No building or structure shall be constructed, erected, altered, repaired or moved, except in conformity with the Residential Code of Ohio for One-, Two- and Three-Family Dwellings, as adopted in § 1402.01 of this chapter, and the standards set forth therein relating to structural strength and stability, means of egress, adequate lighting and ventilation and protection of life and property, shall govern construction within the city.
