§ 71.10 APPROACH OF AUTHORIZED EMERGENCY VEHICLE.
   Upon the approach of any authorized emergency vehicle giving audible and visible signal by light or siren, or of a police vehicle using audible signal only, the operator of other vehicles shall immediately drive to a position as near as possible and parallel to the right-hand edge or curb of the street, clear of any intersections, and shall stop and remain in such position until the authorized emergency vehicle shall have passed, unless otherwise directed by a law enforcement officer.
