Every motor vehicle, except those exempt by applicable state law, shall be equipped with properly working turn signals which, upon turning, shall be clearly visible as lights, both front and rear, indicating where the vehicle is proceeding left or right. The operator of every non-exempt motor vehicle shall use said turn signals prior to executing any turn within the city.
