Sec. 22-14. Mandatory standards for public education.
   (a)    The village will make efforts to promote, encourage, and facilitate stormwater management public education initiatives.
   (b)    The public should be informed of how to identify and report pollution violations and water quality problems. Such actions and conditions shall be reported to the village manager. Serious violations may be reported to the Department of Environmental health in Wilmington. Appendix A of this chapter provides suggested public distribution materials on this topic.
   (c)    The public should be informed of how to minimize water pollution in their homes and businesses, including lawn and garden care, use of household chemicals, septic tank maintenance, and pet care. Appendix B of this chapter provides suggested public distribution materials on this topic.
