(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to carry a concealed handgun for which a permit has been issued pursuant to G.S. 14-415.11 into any village owned or controlled building, or onto the appurtenant premises of such building.
(b) A conspicuous notice of the prohibition set out in subsection (a) of this section shall be posted on all village owned or controlled buildings.
(c) This section shall not apply to persons exempted under G.S. 14-269(b) or any other applicable state or federal law.
(d) Violation of this section shall constitute a violation of G.S. 14-269(a1) and shall be punishable pursuant to G.S. 14-269(c).
