Setback requirements vary with location, district overlay zones, and proposed use. The building setbacks requirements for each property are found in the deed restrictions, recorded covenants (if any), these design standards and the Village of Bald Head Island Code of Ordinances. Zoning requirements are also found in the Village of Bald Head Island Code of Ordinances. Proposed designs must adhere to the most restrictive of the setback and zoning requirements applicable to a particular property. Reference appendix A.2
