§ 31.16 TOWN CLERK.
   (A) Appointment and compensation. The Town Manager may appoint a qualified person to serve as Town Clerk. The compensation of the Town Clerk shall be fixed by the Board of Commissioners.

   (B) Duties. It shall be the duty of the Town Clerk to:
      (1) Attend all meetings of the Board of Commissioners.
      (2) Keep a correct record of all the proceedings of the Board of Commissioners.
      (3) Perform such other duties as may be assigned him.
