§ 150.19 BUILDING PERMIT REQUIRED; APPLICATION; FEES; ISSUANCE; POSTING PERMIT.
Before the erection, construction or alteration of any building or structure, or part thereof, there shall be submitted to the Building Inspector, by the owner or authorized agent, an application on appropriate blanks to be furnished by the Inspector, containing a detailed statement of the specifications and accompanied by a full and complete copy of all necessary plans of the proposed work. Each application for a building permit shall be accompanied by a plat, drawn to scale, showing accurate dimensions of the lot to be built upon, and accurate dimensions of the building to be erected on the lot. If it shall appear to the Inspector that the provisions of this chapter and the state building laws have been complied with and the fees (set by the Board of Commissioners) have been paid, the Inspector will then issue the building permit. It shall be within the discretion of the Inspector to issue permits for minor construction work without plans and specifications. No construction or alteration for which a permit is required shall be commenced until the permit is issued. All permits issued shall be posted on the front of the property where the construction or alteration is being made.
