Section 7.5 VOLUNTEER FIRE CHIEF.

The board of commissioners shall provide by ordinance for the appointment of the Volunteer Chief of Ayden Fire Department. In the event the office of chief of the fire department shall be made a salaried office, it shall be filled in the manner herein prescribed for all other heads of town departments.
