(A) The Traffic Bureau is authorized to issue citations for the following offenses:
(1) Parking at fire plug
(2) Parking in safety zone
(3) Parking left side to curb
(4) Parking on sidewalk
(5) Parking in loading zone
(6) Parking out of line
(7) Parking in alley
(8) Parking in private driveway
(9) Improper parking
(10) Parking in restricted area
(11) Blocking alley
(12) Illegal turn
(13) Backing into intersection
(14) U-Turn
(15) Driving through stop sign
(16) Parking too near intersection
(17) Double parking
(18) Overtime parking
(19) Violating traffic signals
(20) Failure to display town plates or stickers
(B) Persons receiving a citation shall appear at the Town Office or Police Station within five calendar days following the date of the citation to pay the penalty indicated in § 70.51. If any person so cited fails to appear, a warrant shall be issued for their appearance at the next session of District Court for the violation indicated on the citation. Any person cited may appeal the citation by requesting that their case be tried in the appropriate court. If a person is cited for the same violation more than five times in any 30-day period, a warrant may be issued for the violator's appearance in District Court as a habitual violator. The Traffic Bureau member shall issue a warrant in place of a citation for any moving traffic violation if it involved an accident.
