(a) Anyone who is found guilty under Ohio R.C. 102.03, Restrictions on Present or Former Public Officials or Employees, Ohio R.C. Chapter 2921, Offenses Against Justice and Public Administration, or Ohio R.C. Chapter 2913, Theft and Fraud, or any substantially similar municipal ordinance(s) in connection with activity that occurred while serving as a public employee, be it elected or appointed, shall be considered a disqualified person and shall be barred from being employed or from contracting with the City for one year from the completion of their sentence.
(b) Any partnership in which the disqualified person is a principal, or any corporation in which the disqualified person owns more than a 5% interest, shall also be disqualified and shall be barred from employment or from contracting with the City one year from the completion of their sentence.
