(A) All employees shall be entitled to three days of personal leave with pay during a one-year period upon the death of an immediate family member.
(B) Any employee who takes time off when neither sick, injured, nor for medical reasons, shall not be allowed his or her pay for the time as sick or injured or medical leave.
(C) All employees shall be paid sick leave at the same rate they are receiving at the inception of the sick leave.
(D) For purposes of this section, an employee shall be a person defined in § 34.01.
