§ 34.04 SICK LEAVE.
   (A)   Employees shall be allowed to accumulate sick leave at a rate of five days a year and the sick leave shall not accumulate in excess of 20 days maximum. After three days of illness of absence for medical reasons a statement may be required by the department head or Town Council, before said employee will be permitted to return to work.
   (B)   Any employee who takes time off when neither sick, injured, nor for medical reasons, shall not be allowed his or her pay for the time as sick or injured or medical leave.
   (C)   All employees shall be paid sick leave at the same rate they are receiving at the inception of the sick leave.
   (D)   For purposes of this section, an employee shall be a person defined in § 34.01.
