Subd. 1. It is unlawful for any person to operate a motor vehicle by turning so as to proceed in the opposite direction upon any street, except at a street intersection, and then only if the street intersection is not sign-posted prohibiting a U-turn or otherwise controlled by a traffic signal.
Subd. 2. Any person making a permitted U-turn shall yield the right-of-way to all other vehicles.
