Sewers installed for dedication to the city shall comply with criteria stated in Recommended Standards for Wastewater Facilities, Health Education Services, Latest Ed. The building sewer shall be constructed of polyvinyl chloride (P.V.C.) plastic pipe and fittings meeting the requirements of A.S.T.M. D-3034 with joints meeting the requirements of A.S.T.M. D-3212 and A.S.T.M. F-477. If installed in filled or unstable ground, the pipe shall be laid on a suitable improved bed or cradle as approved by the Wastewater Superintendent. All joints shall be made in strict accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations.
