§ 50.11  BULKY ITEM COLLECTION SERVICES.
   (A)   For the removal of bulky items or excessive garbage that will not fit into a trash bag, the city resident shall contact the Clerk-Treasurer’s office to request a quote for the removal of the bulky item or excessive garbage. Payment must be made to the Clerk-Treasurer prior to the items or garbage being collected. Any bulky items and/or excessive garbage shall not be placed adjacent to the curb immediately adjacent to the individual’s residence or within three feet of the curb or traveled portion of the street prior to payment being made to the Clerk-Treasurer for the collection service.
   (B)   Bulky items, including all large household items such as furniture, stoves, water heaters, and other appliances, will be acceptable for this collection. Refrigerators, air conditioners, or other items which normally contain CFCs (Freon), will not be collected unless documentation is provided that the CFCs have been properly removed. No hazardous materials, lead acid batteries, tires, or any other items prohibited by federal, state, county, or local laws or regulations will be accepted.
