1503.13 ADDITIONAL FIRE SAFETY REGULATIONS.
   (a)    Every automatic sprinkler system shall be provided with a waterflow alarm device to give warning of the operation of the sprinkler due to fire. Arrangements shall be made for prompt notification of the Fire Division through a third party monitoring service.
   (b)    All dwellings, houses or other minor buildings or structures shall be located so that no portion thereof is not more than 150 feet from the center line of the roadway.
   (c)    Alternatively, dwellings, houses, or other minor buildings or structures may be located more than 150 feet from the center line of the roadway if a fire suppression system is installed throughout the structure or the driveway is constructed with a turn around and built to accommodate the weight of fire apparatus. All requests shall be approved by the Chief or the officer in charge of the Fire Prevention Bureau.
   (d)    Access streets, roadways or driveways shall conform to the following:
      (1)    The width shall be sufficient to permit easy passage of any Fire Department apparatus and, in no case, shall the width be less than twenty feet.
      (2)    The surface shall be reinforced of sufficient strength and type to adequately support any fire apparatus under any weather conditions.
      (3)    The curve radii and grade elevations shall be such as to permit any Fire Division apparatus to negotiate curves and grades under any weather conditions.
      (4)    All dead-end access streets, roadways and driveways shall have a cul de sac with a curve diameter of 110 feet, minimum.
   (e)    Subsections (b), (c), (d) shall not apply to any existing or non-conforming property or building and is meant to apply to any property constructed, or streets and roadways
constructed after the effective date of this Section.
