1327.02 CONTRACTORS REQUIRED TO REGISTER

   The following contractors must register with the City:

   (a)   Contractors and their subcontractors performing work which requires that a building, zoning, or other city permit be issued as required by City ordinance; this specifically includes, but is not limited to the following:

      (1)   general contractors;

      (2)   electrical contractors;

      (3)   plumbing contractors;

      (4)   HVAC contractors;

      (5)   framing carpenters;

      (6)   finish carpenters;

      (7)   insulation contractors;

      (8)   excavation contractors;

      (9)   paving contractors;

      (10)   cement contractors;

      (11)   fire protection contractors:

      (12)   roofing contractors;

      (13)   fencing contractors.

   (b)    Contractors and their subcontractors who perform work for the City under contract where a permit is required to be obtained and/or whose work is subject to City inspection.

   (c)    Any contractor whom the Director of the Building Department, (hereafter “Director”), determines must be registered to ensure the furtherance of the purposes of this Chapter.
