121.09 VICE PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL.

At its Organizational meeting, or once this provision is adopted, the City Council shall elect a Vice President of Council. During any period when the President shall be absent, inaccessible or unable for any cause to perform the President's duties, the Vice President of the City Council shall be the President Pro Tem, and shall continue to enjoy all of the powers as a member of the City Council, including the right to vote. In the event that a vacancy occurs in the position of the President of Council, this position will succeed the President of Council.
