957.01 STREET SIGN POLICY
   The City shall be responsible for the cost of construction, installation, maintenance and, if required, replacement of the city’s standard street signs for all publicly dedicated streets. If a developer or homeowner association wishes to install alternate signs, rather than the standard signs, they may be authorized by the city providing the design, construction and location is approved by the Planning Commission and the Architectural Board of Review. The cost of the alternate signs, installation, maintenance and replacement are the responsibility of the developer and/or homeowner association. If the alternate signs fall into disrepair, and the homeowner association petitions the City to replace the alternate signs, the City is authorized to replace the alternate signs with the standard sign. The City will be responsible for the cost of removal of the alternate sign, the cost of construction, installation and maintenance of the replacement standard signs.
