155.02 DIRECTOR.

The Director shall be the head of the Division of Engineering, Utilities and Inspection of the Department of Public Services and shall be appointed by the Mayor. The Director, or in the absence of a Director, such other professional engineers employed, or retained by the City, shall report to the Director of Public Services. As used elsewhere in these codified ordinances, references to the Director shall be deemed to include, as applicable and appropriate, other professional engineers employed by the City or retained by the City as independent contractors.
