955.30 LANDMARK TREE REGISTRY PROGRAM
   The Tree Commission may set up a registry program of Landmark Trees (the largest of a given species) on public and private land. When such a tree has been designated on public lands, every effort must be taken to protect it. If a landmark tree is identified on private land under development, the Tree Commission shall recommend to the Planning Commission to work with the developer to preserve and protect it according to the recommendation of the City Arborist.
