955.10 SPACING.
The spacing of trees planted along streets will be in accordance with the three species, size classes listed pursuant to Section 955.09. No trees may be planted closer than the following: large trees, fifty feet; medium trees, forty feet; and small trees, thirty feet; except in special plantings designated or approved by the Director of Planning and Zoning or his/her designee and by the City Arborist. No property owner shall plant a tree within a pubic right of way without first obtaining the written approval of the Director of Planning and Zoning or his/her designee and/or the City Arborist.
