1301.01 CODE ADOPTED; PURPOSE.
   Pursuant to Ohio R. C. 731.231 there is hereby adopted by the City for the purpose of establishing rules and regulations for the location, design, materials, construction, alteration, repair, equipment, use, occupancy, maintenance, removal and demolition of dwellings and appurtenant structures, except insofar as such matters are otherwise specifically provided for in any other applicable law or ordinance, that certain code known as the 2006 Residential Code of Ohio for One, Two and Three Family Dwellings, prepared by the Ohio Board of Building Standards, and the whole thereof, and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein. Any additional references throughout the Codified Ordinances of Aurora to the “Regional Dwelling House Code” and to “2004 Residential Code of Ohio for One, Two and Three Family Dwellings” shall be now deemed to refer to the “2006 Residential Code of Ohio for One, Two and Three Family Dwellings.”
