761.03 LICENSE APPLICATION.

   (a)    Application for a license hereunder shall be made in writing to the Chief of Aurora's Police Department and shall be processed in accordance with the general provisions of this chapter.

   (b)    Each applicant for a license under this section, annually, on or before the fourth Monday in May, shall make and deliver to the Chief of Aurora's Police Department upon a furnished license application, a statement showing the name of the applicant, address of the applicant's business, the nature of the business, and any other information the Chief may require in the form of a statement prescribed by him.

    (c)    Upon receipt of the application and payment of the filing fee of fifty dollars ($50.00), the Chief of Aurora's Police Department shall issue to the applicant a license authorizing the applicant to engage in the sale of tobacco products as a cigarette and tobacco vendor within the City for one year commencing on the date the application is filed and fee is paid.

   (d)    Each cigarette and tobacco vendor shall display the license or a copy prominently at the premises for which the license is issued.
