660.20 PROHIBITED USES OF PROPERTY.
The following uses of land in the City are hereby declared to be a nuisance and are prohibited:
(1) Asphalt or tar manufacturing or refining.
(2) Blast furnaces.
(3) Carbon, coke or lampblack manufacture.
(4) Coal gas manufacturing.
(5) Creosote manufacturing.
(6) Dextrine, glucose or starch manufacturing.
(7) Disinfectant or insecticide manufacture.
(8) Dyestuff manufacture.
(9) Manufacture of steel by the Bessemer process.
(10) Match manufacture.
(11) Oil cloth or linoleum manufacture.
(12) Paper and pulp manufacture by the sulphide process.
(13) Reclaiming rubber.
(14) Stock feed manufacture from refuse.
(15) Manufacture of hair.
(16) Wool pulling or scouring.
(17) Hydrochloric, nitric, picric or sulfuric acid manufacture.
(18) Ammonia, bleaching powder, soda, soda compound, potash or chlorine manufacture.
(19) Bronze powder manufacture.
(20) Distillation of bones, coal or wood.
(21) Trailer courts, mobile homes and house trailers used for living purposes.
(22) Truck freight terminals.
(23) Fat, grease, lard or tallow rendering or refining.
(24) Fertilizer manufacture.
(25) Gelatine, glue or size manufacture.
(26) Reduction of dead animals, garbage, offal or refuse.
(27) Manufacture or storage of explosives.
(28) Rayon manufacture.
(29) Slaughtering of animals and slaughter houses.
(30) Stockyards.
(31) Crematories.
(32) Privately owned or operated cemeteries.
(33) Penal and correctional institutions.
(34) Institutions for the insane or feebleminded.
(35) Motor vehicle racetracks, dragstrips and off-road driving areas.
(36) Helicopter landing pads, airports and facilities for aircraft used for commercial purposes except those constructed and used solely by a property owner for his personal business and pleasure.
