642.07 REPORT OF FALSE TRANSACTION IN SECURITIES.

(a) No person, with purpose to deceive, shall make, publish or cause to be made or published, a report of any transaction in securities, when no transaction has taken place.

(ORC 1708.03)

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree. Punishment shall be as provided in Section 698.02.
