For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
A.B.S. May be substituted for P.V.C. pipe provided it meets the specifications outlined in the P.V.C. definition.
CLAY. Shall conform to ASTM standard specifications for clay sewer pipe.
POLY VINYL CHLORIDE or P.V.C. All P.V.C. gravity sewer pipe shall conform to the requirements of the latest revision of ASTM specifications D 3034 Poly Vinyl Chloride (P.V.C.) Sewer Pipe and Fittings. P.V.C. pipe minimum wall thickness shall be SDR26 for 4-inch or 6-inch pipe, and SDR35 for 8-inch through 15-inch pipe. Specifications for 18-inch through 36-inch poly vinyl chloride (P.V.C.) gravity sewer pipe shall conform to the requirements of the latest revision of ASTM F679 Poly Vinyl Chloride Sewer Pipe and Fittings . All pipe shall be installed in accordance with the provisions of § 52.58.
