§ 95.23 BARRICADES AND LIGHTING OF EXCAVATIONS.
   All persons making any excavation or opening in any of the streets or alleys of the city shall sufficiently and properly barricade and protect such opening and place danger lights at such openings before dark each evening such opening continues, which lights shall be kept burning until daylight.
