§ 151.061  STREET NAME SIGNS.
   Street name signs, of a type in use throughout the city, shall be erected by the subdivider at all intersections.

§ 151.062  ALLEYS.
   Alleys shall be provided to give access to the rear of all lots used for commercial and industrial purposes. Minimum width of an alley shall be 20 feet. Alley intersections and sharp changes in alignment shall be avoided, but where necessary, corners shall be cut off sufficiently to permit safe vehicular movement. Dead-end alleys shall be avoided where possible, but if unavoidable, shall be provided with adequate facilities at the dead-end, as determined by the City Council. Alleys need not be provided in residential areas where the subdivider produces evidence of easements which are satisfactory to the City Council.

§ 151.063  SIDEWALKS.
   Sidewalks shall be provided and shall be constructed of portland cement concrete or other acceptable materials as approved by the City Council. Sidewalk thickness shall be not less than four inches and sidewalk width not less than four feet.

§ 151.064  DRIVEWAYS.
   (A)   Driveways shall have a maximum grade of 10%. Driveways and curb cuts shall be located not less than three feet from the side lot lines.
   (B)   Curb cuts for straight curbs and the flare for rolled curbs shall be three feet wider than the driveway pavement on each side.

BLOCKS AND LOTS
§ 151.075  GENERAL REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   The lengths, widths and shapes of blocks shall be suited to the planned use of the land, zoning requirements, need for convenient access, control and safety of street traffic and the limitations and opportunities of topography.
   (B)   Block lengths in residential areas shall not as a general rule be less than 600 feet in length between street lines unless dictated by exceptional topography or other limiting factors of good design.

§ 151.076  UTILITY LINES.
   All utility lines for electric power, telephone and cable television service shall be placed underground except where, in the opinion of the City Planning Commission, the location is infeasible or too costly. Poles for permitted overhead lines shall be placed in rear lot line easements.

§ 151.077  APPROPRIATE LOTS.
   The size, shape and orientation of the lots shall be appropriate for the location of the subdivision and for the type of development and use contemplated. The lots should be designed to provide an aesthetically pleasing building site and a proper architectural setting for the buildings contemplated.
